Our Story

Affix started because our founder, Jamie, really loves her little sister.

Jamie’s sister was a prospective first-time homebuyer, but was struggling to find any options in her price range. Since Jamie was originally trained as an architect, she did a deep dive during her MBA, to understand where there might be opportunities to build true starter homes in Colorado. She researched zoning codes across the state of Colorado, and interviewed hundreds of people - prospective home owners, realtors, city officials, builders, lenders, and real estate investors, searching for a new approach to home ownership.

The Affix concept integrates creative land use, prefabrication, and short-term rental investing, to create a new approach to home ownership in America.
